'Tis the season for giving! When you come to the Iceplex over the holidays, bring in donations for YouthCare.
YouthCare works to end youth homelessness and to ensure that young people are valued for who they are and empowered to achieve their potential.
You can donate the following physical items to our donation net in our lobby:
- New underwear & bras
- Blankets
- Hand & shoe warmers
- Non-perishable food
- Body wash (small bottles)
- Gift cards (Amazon, Visa, grocery store)
Holiday Public Skates
Bring your family and friends to skate at the Iceplex! During the month of December our skates and lobby will be filled with festive cheer, decor, music and more.
HOLIDAY SKATES ARE BUSY! Plan to arrive 30 mins ahead of a public skate time to beat the line to pick up skates.
CELEBRATION ON ICE: PARTY LIKE IT'S 2025
Ice Show Presented by Kraken Skating Academy
Kraken Skating Academy is excited to present the fourth annual Celebration on Ice: Party like it's 2025. Local skaters of all ages will perform to music from 2000 - 2024, gearing up for the celebration of the quarter century.
Skate with Santa
Skate on the set of Celebration on Ice with the one and only Santa! Skate rental is included with admission fee. Space is limited.
- Sunday, December 22 10:00am - 11:15am
- $35 per skater. Includes skate rentals.

Our Shipwrecked 3v3 Tournament is back on Saturday, Dec. 28! Join us as we host this friendly and exciting event for all skill levels. All games held at Kraken Community Iceplex.

Iceplex Gift Cards
These can be purchased for any amount and used for any activity the Iceplex offers.
- Login or create your DaySmart account and go to the gift card dashboard linked here.
- There is a minimum amount of $15, but you can also create custom amounts by editing the “Amount” field.
- A redemption code will be sent to both you and the recipient via email.
The purchaser must have an account with DaySmart to purchase and assign to the recipient. Gift cards are valid for Iceplex programming only and are not redeemable at the Kraken Team Store or Starbucks.
