Kraken Skating Academy is excited to host the third annual Emerald City Figure Skating Summit. The mission of the Summit is to grow connections, share knowledge, and to support the love of figure skating in the Pacific Northwest. This year the Summit is featuring Olympian Scott Davis, International coach Darin Hosier, KSA coaching professionals and special guest coaches to be announced.
Skaters and coaches have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of on- and off-ice classes and workshops including sports psychology, physical therapy and injury prevention for skaters, nutrition, dance and music interpretation, and technical spins and jumps classes.
Registration opens April 1st at 12pm PST.
Payment plan available upon registration (Figure Skaters | Senior, Junior, Aspire, Excel, and Adult):

Dr. Rick Sessinghaus
As a former professional golfer, Rick has now found more satisfaction helping others achieve their dreams than he did in his own competitive career. Long intrigued by the fact that physical skills were rarely the determining factor in athletic success, he studied the mental and emotional skills that make or break a performance. Adding to his Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Communications, Rick received his Masters and Doctorate Degree in Applied Sports Psychology.
Rick co-founded FlowCode with the purpose of helping others realize their full potential and live their dreams. Long intrigued by the fact that physical skills were rarely the determining factor in athletic success, Rick & the FlowCode team studied the mental and emotional skills that make or break a performance. FlowCode offers a state of the art approach to the mental game preparation based on years of experience & successes with top athletes of the world.
